"Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms.  He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone."
Zechariah 10:1

Dear Hope Clinic Supporters,

Spring is here and as we experience those showers, and yes, even the storms, we continue to praise God for his faithfulness to our clinic.

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month

Volunteers are the foundation of our clinic and the only way we can continue to serve the increasing number of patients that are walking in our doors.  We sincerely want to honor them next month and are looking for a few partners to help.  If your company, church or civic group is interested in a group giving project that will help us "shower" our volunteers each week in April with love, please reach out to julee@hopeclinicmckinney.org for more details.

New Volunteer Management System

And speaking of volunteers, if you are are one, then hopefully you've received emails from us announcing our transition to a new Volunteer Management System called Volgistics.  We need for all current volunteers to create a new account, to be able to sign up for our next shift schedules in April, May and June.  If you're a current volunteer and want to create or access your account or change your password, click here to get started.

Nurse Manager Needed

Are you a nurse?  Do you know a nurse?  We need a nurse to join our paid staff!  And while we're at it, we're asking for a few more nurses who have a few hours a month to volunteer too!

Our staff RN position will oversee the daily clinical operations and attend to patients.  We consider this a full-time role (for purpose of benefits) at approximately 35 hours a week with some flexibility. Clinic patient days are Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, & 1 six-hour Saturday per month.  Half-day clinic patient Wednesdays will be added in the future, but for now Wednesdays and Mondays are part-time administrative days, along with a few hours, as needed either in-clinic/remote. So, if you or someone you know would like to be a part of our mission to share the love of Christ by providing free healthcare, click this link to see our job posting to join our paid staff in this available position.

Introducing Our New
Office Manager

Joli Woodward is from Venezuela and moved to the United States in the early 2000s. That is when her journey in customer service began, with the last eight years being in the medical field. She has a heart for serving and found a place to volunteer at Hope Clinic in 2022. She is excited to have the opportunity to impact our community by combining her passion for serving and providing excellent customer service with her God-given talents and her years of experience in the medical field. Joli is a proud mother of two teens and two dogs.

Chelsea Goldberg

What role do you serve at Hope Clinic?

I am a medical scribe for the healthcare providers.

When did you start volunteering at Hope Clinic?

I began volunteering in March of 2022.

Why do you volunteer at Hope Clinic or what do you like most about serving at the clinic?

The Hope Clinic serves those in our community who don’t have access to healthcare. I’ve loved being a part  of solving that problem for many patients and wish to continue doing that in my future career as a healthcare professional. The clinic not only unites our

community in McKinney but the small community within the clinic itself. I’ve developed some wonderful friendships with the people there and always find myself eager and excited to volunteer.

Hope Clinic is so appreciative for volunteers like Chelsea who are dedicated to caring for our patients!  If your have a few hours a month and would like to know more about serving in not only a medical, but support staff role, check out our Volunteer webpage here.

Thanks for Giving Hope!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the following churches, businesses and foundations who have recently made a financial or in-kind gift to our clinic and our patients:

Baptist Immigration Center

Our PATIENTS - who have donated over $1,000 in 2023
