Job Openings

We are so close to filling all of the needed staff roles here at Hope Clinic!  Besides looking forward to our new Nurse Practitioner starting in April, we will also welcome a new Office Manager by the end of this month and will introduce you to her soon.  All that remains is a need for an RN/Nurse Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations and attend to patients. Honda and Toyota of Denton have included Hope Clinic once again in their 2023 Community Support Fundraiser, where we get to keep 100% of all profits made!

That means we're selling raffle tickets for $2 each for a chance to win a drawing in May 2023 for either a Honda or Toyota car or truck with an MSRP of $30k or less! They will also pay tax, title & license.  Winner must be 18 or older.

Doris Mangano is one of our volunteer Registered Nurses who has served in a PRN capacity at Hope Clinic since November 2021.  She likes to fill in if someone is out ill or on vacation.  She also volunteers several half days a week to give the main RN a break from the hectic morning schedule.

"I have always wanted to volunteer in a medical clinic," said Doris. "When I lived in Illinois, I was caring for my elderly mother and was teaching at a community college. Mom took up all my free time, so after she passed, I moved to Anna, to be near 2 of my 3 children.  I decided to follow up on my bucket list and applied to Hope Clinic. Looking at myself, I have always been a RN, so I still have energy, my brain is a bit slower, but it catches on, so why not utilize myself to help others? Retirement would be boring if I did not keep active. The sincere thanks I have received from the patients gives me my reason for continuing to come to Hope Clinic. I also enjoy the staff and when I forget something - mostly on the computer- someone graciously helps me again. Hope Clinic is the perfect place to continue my nursing, and although "old," I am still worthwhile."
