“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Dear Hope Clinic Supporters,

Welcome 2023!  Our year started off by welcoming patients back on January 5, as well as onboarding some new faces to our team.  We are looking forward to how God will "do a new thing" and continue to bless and grow our services!

New Year/New Space

The new year is off to a BIG start as our team worked through the holidays to complete our second expansion!  Yes, you heard that correct!  We had the opportunity to gain 1,000+ sq. ft., so we literally busted through walls, expanding into some adjoining space to now give us over 4,000 sq. ft. We are still doing some finishes, but we think you will be impressed with the results seen in the video below.

Most importantly -- a big thank you to the contractors, vendors, volunteers and staff who pulled this expansion off so quickly and without interruption to our clinic days.  We especially want to thank Performance Painting for DONATING all new epoxy floors throughout the clinic and Genzel Plumbing Company LLC for all donated plumbing services.

Job Openings

First, the great news!  We'll be introducing you soon to a new Nurse Practitioner who is finishing up her commitment to a current employer and planning to join our team in April.  Adding her position to our team of medical staff and volunteers will help us see even more patients in 2023!

The not-so-great news lies in having to say goodbye to Nurse Manager/RN Julie Garrison and Office Manager Anita Soria, both of whom have/are moving on to new adventures and will be greatly missed!  So, if you or someone you know would like to be a part of our mission to share the love of Christ by providing free healthcare, click this link to see our job postings to join our paid staff in one of these 2 available positions.

As always, thank you for your support and faithfulness!  Because of you, we are making an impact on the lives of patients who need hope and healing!

In Hope,

Vicki Northcutt, Executive Director - Development

Andrea Naff, Executive Director - Operations

Introducing Dr. Theresa Olfson!

We're excited to announce that Dr. Theresa Olfson has joined our staff, accepting the role of Medical Director! She will continue the dedicated work of her predecessor, Dr. Anna Rusk, by providing high quality, compassionate medical care for our patients.

Dr. Olfson has been an Emergency Medicine Physician at Texas Health Allen since it’s opening in 2000. After seeing thousands of patients in the Allen/McKinney area, she wanted to serve and give

back to the community in a different capacity. She first began volunteering at Hope Clinic through her involvement in The Parks Church and now she is excited to begin 2023 in this new role.

Theresa and her husband, James, met in medical school in Chicago and have been married 29 years. They are empty nesters as their older daughter, Erica, just graduated from Vanderbilt with a Masters in Biomedical Sciences and Rachel, is a sophomore at University of Oklahoma. She is a happy dog mom to Eli!
