Dear Hope Clinic Supporters,
Thanks again to First United Bank & the 60 folks that joined us on July 22 for our "Hope Floats" 5th Birthday Party! It was a great way to beat this heat and celebrate! We are also pleased to have had several new "Hope Heroes" join our monthly giving program, giving us a total now of 42 faithful supporters. As the month of August starts marching down, we know that many thoughts turn to one last vacation, back-to-school preparations, and all of the fall events to come. Next on our list of events is the all-important North Texas Giving Day set for September 22. Our participation in this community-wide giving campaign has historically been our most successful annual fundraiser supported by individuals, raising nearly $70k in 2021 to support patient services. For 2022, we'd like to take it up a notch and raise $80k, asking each of you as supporters to please start praying now if there's a chance you can help make this happen. As of today, we are pleased to announce that we've already received two pledges for matching funds -- $10k from an anonymous donor and another $5k from The Bolos Foundation. Last, but not least, please join our team as we pray for and get ready to welcome Dr. Anna Rusk's new baby...any day now! And again, we are so thankful that the Lord has brought both Dr. Janet Robinson and Dr. Doug Myers to provide consistent patient care while Dr. Rusk is out on maternity leave.
