In order to provide a high-level of care, Hope Clinic uses the Athena Health Patient Portal online platform.
This system allows for us to not only schedule appointments and keep patient records, but also allows for 2-way communication between our patients and our staff. It is our preferred method of communicating with our patients! As our patient list grows, we strongly encourage all to utilize the portal to communicate with us.
You must have completed our in-person enrollment before creating an online portal account.
You will need both an email and phone number to create a portal account.
Use the messaging feature to easily confirm or request an appointment.
Use the messaging feature to request prescription refills.
View your lab results.
Use the messaging feature to submit any questions for a nurse or doctor.
Use the portal to request release of your medical records to another provider.
Please do allow at least 48 business hours for message responses and note our normal clinic hours.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
Patients will receive courtesy appointment reminder texts or phone calls with simple instructions on how to confirm.
If a patient misses 3 appointments in one year, and did not call, email, send a message through the Patient Portal, or reply to a Care Message Text with a request to to cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours in advance, they may not remain a Hope Clinic patient.
Cancellation policies are in place in hopes that our patients will understand that missing appointments means that another patient on our waitlist could not be seen and volunteer time was not used effectively.
While there is no charge for our services, patients are asked to consider a $20 donation at the conclusion of each appointment to help the next patient through the door. No patient, however, is ever denied services based on their inability to make a donation.
Patients must re-enroll each year and provide current income, Collin County residency, and confirm lack of insurance.
If status of insurance, income, contact information, or residency changes, patients are asked to inform the clinic within 30 days.
Hope Clinic exists to share the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with our community to provide quality, compassionate healthcare and resources to our medically underserved neighbors.
